Computerised Wheel Balancing

At City Tyres, we offer computerized wheel balancing to eliminate vibrations when driving. These vibrations cause driving discomfort, premature wear of tyres and also destroy shock absorbers and other steering and suspension components. Balanced wheels ensure smooth and enjoyable driving. It is recommended to balance the wheels after every 7,000 kilometres or when aligning the wheels.

Computerised Wheel Alignment

The computerised wheel alignment that City Tyres provides reduces uneven tyre wear by ensuring that the tyres maintain constant flat contact with the ground. It also eliminates the tendency of the vehicle "pulling" towards one side while in motion by ensuring that they run parallel to each other. This improves fuel economy and handling while increasing driving enjoyment, safety and comfort. It is recommended to have your wheels aligned after every 7,000 kilometres or when balancing the wheels.

Computerised Headlight Adjustment

We also offer computerised headlight adjustment. This ensures that your beam is not too high to endanger other road users or not too low to endanger yourself. It is recommended to have your headlights adjusted when you have just purchased the vehicle, when changing headlights or after repairing the vehicle following a head-on collision.

Tyre Rotation

Tire rotation helps to equalize the rate of tread wear. This is critical so as to attain maximum life and mileage from your tyre. Tyre rotation should be carried out every 7,000 kilometres, or when carrying out wheel balancing and wheel alignment.

Puncture Repairs

City Tyres offers professional puncture repairs. It is recommended that the tyres should be both internally and externally checked for damages that may have occurred. Plug-only repairs maybe unreliable and cause further damage.

Inflation Pressure Checks

At City Tyres, we offer FREE pressure checks to all our clients. Correct inflation pressure is critical for good fuel economy, safety, maximum tyre life and proper vehicle handling performance. Inflation pressure should be checked every week and ONLY when the tyres are cold.

Tyre Seminars & Workshops

We have a well trained technical crew that offers FREE tyre maintenance seminars and workshops to corporate clients either at our well equipped plant or in their own premises. The sole objective of these seminars and workshops is to maximise tyre life through proper handling and maintenance.
